I knew there must be.  The use after prepositions is typically Romance. The
Celtic langs keep conjunctive forms after prespositions, so much so that
'conjugated prepositions' have developed in all the modern Celtic langs.  I
believe, if my memory is not playing tricks, that Andrew once wondered if
Brithenig might not have done the same but wisely, I think, has kept it in
the Romance tradition.

Yes - but the French may also use them for emphasize. My grandson only 4
greated me when he'd crept into our bed soon after six one morning with: Je
t'aime toi.
