Actually, Andrew, it's French Huguenot, and cognate with Cavet, Cavett,
etc.  Originally pronounced Ca VEY.

That is rather pungeant, isn't it.

How do you pronounce Brythenig?  I'm guessing "Brittany."  !!!G

I think I badly mispronounce it on the tape.  Apologies ahead of time to
