In Brithenig it is called Nadelig from dies natalica, another latin way of
saying birthday that was adopted in the Celtic languages to mean
Christmas.  It starts with a traditional candlelit procession to the local
church on Noeth Pylgant, Christmas Eve, literally Cock'scrow Night, but
the Christmas day itself is a modern "commercialised" Christmas with all
the trimmings recognisable anywhere in the Western world.  The Chomro
prefer to wait for Calen Ianar, New Year, and then really get off their
faces!  The decorations do not come down until Twelfth Night.
