Re: CELT: Welsh Goblin seeks etymology

I can't find a reliable etymology for bwca but it seems to me to come from
a stem *bo:k-. This would become bug- in Brithenig to which I'm inclined
to give the augmentive suffix. So in Brithenig goblin can be 'bugun'. It
has a nice orcish sound to it!
