My personal way of dealing with this is to ignore the x3 and take "traji" as meaning just "x1 is the most x2 among x3". For "least" I use "tolrai", "x is the least x2 among x3". "mutce" has a similarly pointless x3, but in this case it is not so harmful as it doesn't really get in the way of anything so it can be ignored without any explanations needed.
